The NaraTika CLC is keen for people to get involved.
Whether that’s through volunteering, sponsorship, donating resources or fundraising.
We want the centre to be self funded and only by working together, being involved and being self sufficient it will be a success.
The NaraTika Community Learning Centre (CLC) is offering exciting volunteering opportunities to get involved.
To make the centre successful, we need committed volunteers from around the world to share their knowledge and skills.
Currently we have the following roles available:
- Library Volunteer
- Children Centre Volunteer
- Computer Lab Volunteer
- General Administration Volunteer
- Fundraising and Grant Writing Volunteer
- Gardening Volunteer
- Health and Wellbeing Volunteer
Each of the roles will be fully supported by staff. Volunteers also get a full induction and opportunities to shadow professionals in their work.
For more information, don’t hesitate to contact us.
So far, the NTCLC has been funded by Volunteers Initiative Nepal. Our aim to make this one of a kind building financially sustainable and independent.
That is why we have decided to charge for some of our services, such as hiring our meeting rooms and dormitory, as well as charge for low cost activities. These will be our main sources of income.
However, we need donors and supported to help us run the centre. Your generous donations will help us not only to provide services to marginalised communities, but also maintain the centre.
In the first 5 years, the NTCLC is predicted to have the following annual costs:
Utilities (electricity, water, internet, telephone): €2.700
Building maintenance: €1.400
Resources for activities: €2.000
We are always looking for new income streams in order to improve our services and the building but we need your help though to keep the services running so please donate (link to donate button!).

We are really keen to reach as many people as we can by providing all inclusive and holistic services in Okhaldhunga through the NTCLC.
Whether you’re a corporate organisation, business or individual who would like to support us- we look forward to hearing from you.
If you don’t have the time to volunteer or organise a fundraising event, you can still help us and get involved by sponsoring some of our resources!
We are looking for sponsors of quality children’s books, crayons and notebooks, as well as plants for our garden.
